Had a really lovely one-night stay here. The rooms are top-notch and have everything you could need (including a fan, which came in very handy in the heatwave!) and our bathroom was excellent. Everything super clean; staff lovely; breakfast brilliant. We were here for an evening event and the food was really excellent!

Have been visiting The Abbotsford for over 40 years and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere, especially of late. The new owners have done a fantastic job on every aspect including the food. Had our first meal on the patio tonight and have to say the the burger is the best in town. The fish and chips was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were more than we could eat. Will definitely be back to to work our way through the menu.

Wonderful overnight stay here last night Saturday 19th April. We stayed in the Turnberry Room. Hotel is excellent value for money . We will definitely stay here again. Staff are amazing and the bar lounge is so friendly. Big shout out to Lauren who works behind the bar and who was so lovely and friendly gabbing away to us both. Hotel is totally spotless and an absolute wee gem. Highly recommend x
